• Many SAR skills are perishable and unfortunately there’s rarely opportunity between missions and trainings to practice those skills.
• To assist responders we’ve partnered with the National Association for Search and Rescue to create a lightweight, pocket-sized series of waterproof guides.
• The guides are small enough to fit in the chest pocket of your uniform shirt (3.75 x 5.5), yet unfolded (18.5 x 11), they provide a wealth of mission critical information complete with color illustrations.
• Essential Knots for Search and Rescue has step-by- step illustrations for the most common knots we use in SAR.
• It also includes litter lashing techniques, basic anchors, and improvised seat harnesses.
